Lady Gaga Releases New 'ARTPOP' Track, Takes on Critics
Lady Gaga released her new song "Do What U Want," featuring R. Kelly, overnight, and the pop star used the occasion to lash out at her critics.
Gaga posted various negative comments to her Twitter feed and responded to them in the hours leading up to "Do What U Want's" release.

Among the criticisms she responded to were claims that she's on drugs, to which Gaga wrote that she's "been an addict for 10 years" and "my recovery is a daily battle." She also responded to claims that God hates her by writing "#YouCan'tHaveMyHeart ill always fight for equality, got my own relationship with God."
She also insisted she wasn't bothered by Katy Perry's single debuting higher on the charts than "Applause" did, writing "I write for the music not the charts."
"Do What U Want" is the latest track off of Gaga's upcoming album/app ARTPOP, which is slated to be released Nov. 11. You can download the song on iTunes here or listen to a stream of it below Gaga's tweets.
