Reptilian chic: Lady Gaga appears far from comfortable in peculiar leather ...

She rode into the AMAs on Sunday night on a giant white puppet horse, wearing a lilac gown, before swapping into a dazzling strapless silver number for the ceremony, a sequinned leotard for her performance and then a skin-tight crystal-covered bodysuit for the afterparty.
The following morning, Lady Gaga unsurprisingly donned yet another striking ensemble as she arrived at LAX for a flight.
Hardly dressed appropriately for her transcontinental expedition, the star was clad in what can best be described as Alien meets a scaly fish.
The 27-year-old drowned her petite figure in the black creation, which consisted of a sheer maxi-dress and a leather top with voluminous round shoulders and an intricate cut-out design down the torso that culminated in a long tail-like train all the way down to the ground at the front.
The elaborate number didn't feature any arm holes, leaving the singer's hands to poke out from under the hem at the sides, while she teamed it with towering black platform boots.
The Applause hitmaker was still wearing her hair in the same long, sleek platinum blonde style that fell down to her waist as the night before, and completed her look with a pair of circular Yi Brow shades by Quay Eyeware.
She appeared to be wearing very little make-up, with just a rosy hue on her lips and bronzed cheeks, while she kept her eyes covered by large kooky round black sunglasses.
'Getting ready to leave for Tokyo! I can't hardly wait! *packing extra rhinestones* for Japanese little monsters here I come! Xx,' she tweeted in the early hours of Monday morning, ahead of her flight.
As always, Gaga took the time to take photos and sign autographs for fans, who had gathered for a glimpse of the icon.
However, as she lifted her arm to pull a claw pose with one lucky fan, the songstress's top lifted up to accidentally expose her black thong underneath - not that it's anything we haven't all seen before.
It's not known whether or not the performer actually endured the roughly 12-hour flight in her bulky garb or if she changed into something more comfortable - pyjamas, perhaps? - but it's certain she'll emerge in Tokyo in yet another stunning, jaw-dropping creation.
Despite her jam-packed evening, during which she performed her new song, Do What U Want, with R Kelly, the star still managed to look rested and was in good spirits as she made her way through the airport just a matter of hours later.
And what is a trip to the airport without a little duty free shopping?
While waiting for her flight, Mother Monster checking out tax-free shopping with an eye towards luxury perfume.
Gaga tried her hand (or nose) at different scents before she boarded her time-consuming flight to Tokyo.
Miley Cyrus Disses Lady Gaga's AMAs Entrance: 'That's So Boring'
Miley Cyrus, 21, has recently made a name for herself as the court jester of the awards show circuit. So when , 27, stole her red carpet thunder with a human-powered horse and Donatella Versace throwback costume at the 2013 American Music Awards, Miley was a bit taken back.
Miley Reacts To Gaga's Entrance: 'What A [Bleep] Scene-Stealer!'
Take Our Poll
According to E! Online, Miley was chatting with the likes of Jonathan Cheban, Jenna Ushkowitz and Zendaya on the red carpet when Gaga emerged for an insane entrance that was channeling the one Bianca Jagger made on her birthday as she rode into Studio 54 in 1977. Miley, who was demurely dressed in a Versus Versace suit, was clearly outdone by her fellow Versace-wearing, scene-stealing pop princess.
"What a f-ing ... sorry!" Miley said to the red carpet reporters. "What a big scene stealer! Next time, I'm going to come in on a dragon."
The (fake?) shade did not stop there. Miley joked with reporters that they could leave her if they wanted to go chat with Gaga instead, and even threw in a dig at her 2011 Grammy Awards get-up.
"You can stop interviewing me if you want to go interview Gaga," she said. "I don't care. She didn't come up in an embryo this time. That's so boring."
You're right, Miley - a giant, crying cat hovering in space is definitely less boring than an embryo. We think. It's a toss-up.
Miley & Gaga: Are They Rivals?
Even if Miley's words sounded harsh, she likely didn't mean any harm. After all, Gaga has had Miley's back in the past, and Miley isn't one to diss her fellow pop stars just for making a statement.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Was Miley throwing shade, or just making a joke?

AMAs: Lady Gaga, R. Kelly Invade Oval Office With Performance (Video)
During the hands-down most elaborate performance at the 2013 American Music Awards, Lady Gaga and R. Kelly fashioned themselves a salacious secretary and President Kelly while playing their new hit "Do What U Want" in a faux Oval Office.
After pantomiming a phone call in which Gaga asked "President Kelly" what he wanted for lunch ("Girl, you been working for me for six long years, you know what I want!" he sang), an elaborate dance sequence inside the President's chambers kicked off, with Kelly gazing on with piqued interest while resisting the urge to partake in any choreography. During the first half of the performance, Gaga nuzzled against the R&B icon's ear and slid between his legs while belting her half of the duet.

"Who put these pictures on Instagram!" Kelly bellowed mid-song, holding up his phone before being shuffled offstage. The whole experience smacked of the singer's "Trapped In The Closet" hip-hopera until Gaga ended the performance with a fiery rendition of the chorus, as video of the pop superstar playing the piano as a child played behind her. Eventually, that video was paired with screens that blasted headlines like "Lady Gaga Is Fat" and "Lady Gaga Is Over."
Last week, Lady Gaga's ARTPOP album started atop the Billboard 200 chart with 258,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Do What U Want," the second single from ARTPOP, which Gaga and Kelly also performed on Saturday Night Live earlier this month, zips up to No. 18 on the current Hot 100 chart.
Gaga will return to TV later this week when she stars alongside Kermit, Miss Piggy and more of her furry friends on The Muppets Holiday Spectacular, set to air on Thanksgiving night on ABC.

Lady Gaga Performs 'Do What U Want' With R. Kelly At 2013 AMAs
lives for the applause, and she got her fill at the 2013 American Music Awards. No stranger to the AMAs stage, this year's performance blew all others out of the water, pairing Gaga up with for an unbelievable performance of "Do What U Want." And I really do mean unbelievable. I refuse to believe I saw what I saw.
Playing the Marilyn to R. Kelly's "President Kelly," Gaga answered a phone call from her collaborating partner - and that's when things got sexy. The fake Oval Office (Faux-val Office?) quickly transformed into a dance floor, which Gaga and her back-up dancers promptly tore up.
Take Our Poll
Stripping down to various states of undress, Gaga got freaky with dancer after dancer, before feasting her eyes upon the main course: President Kelly.
Sadly, the Commander in Chief denied any relations with Gaga, leaving her screaming, "Do what you want with my body!" all by her lonesome.
Lady Gaga & R. Kelly Simulate Sex On 'SNL'
Of course, this isn't the first time Gaga and R. Kelly have teamed up to shock the masses. You may recall the Nov. 16 episode of Saturday Night Live, which found the twosome simulating sex - at least we think they were only simulating it - on the floor of the SNL stage.
We thought that was the craziest Gaga performance yet, but clearly, she was just getting warmed up for the American Music Awards.

Lady Gaga plays sexy secretary to R. Kelly's cigar

They urged their audience to Do What U Want.
And Lady Gaga and R. Kelly certainly followed their own advice when they performed at the AMAs on Sunday night.
Donning a spectacles and a spangly silver number, Gaga played a sexy secretary to Kelly's cigar-smoking president.
The performance immediately brought to mind the infamous 90s affair between U. S. President Bill Clinton and intern Monica Lewinsky.
Sitting behind an ornate desk with a backdrop of damask curtains and American flags, the Bump 'N' Grind singer looked on as the 27-year-old performer stripped off her glasses, jacket and skirt to reveal a sparkly bodice.
While Kelly, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, was largely content to stand on the table, the Telephone singer executed an energetic routine alongside a group of backup dancers.
At one point, the pop princess was lifted up by a team of dancers dressed as White House aides, representing the two parties wearing red and blue ties.
The risqué duo also pulled a raunchy pose on the desk, with crouched on top of the young starlet.
The couple seemed to be taking the song's lyrics to heart, including the lines: 'So do what you want, What you want with my body, Do what you want, Don't stop, let's party.'
'I was working very hard for it and I was working for a very long time to make it memorable,' she told E! about the performance.
Last week the pair indulged in another very suggestive performance on Saturday Night Live, which critics considered to be pushing the boundaries of taste.
Lady Gaga arrived at the AMAs wearing lilac Versace and riding a huge white horse, which was operated by two puppeteers hiding inside the animal.

Regarding her performance at Sunday night's American Music Awards, Ariana Grande tweeted, "That was the most nerve wracking thing ever." It also happened to be the most electrifying performance of the night, bringing Lady Gaga to her feet and leaving Justin Bieber "honestly speechless" (but with enough feeling in his thumbs to tweet his stunned approval).
The 20-year-old singer appeared on stage in a red sequins dress, and in a stripped down performance that refreshingly for a major awards show didn't involve actual stripping, she belted into a 50′s-era microphone a ballad from her album Yours Truly that sounded as if it had been channeled straight out of Motown's heydays.
Grande tweeted to her fans after the performance, "I love you guys so so so much. that's all I've been thinking. thank you times a million 💕" Judging from the wave of congratulatory replies from fans and celebrities alike, the feeling was mutual.

Bad Timing? Lady Gaga and R. Kelly Send Up JFK and Marilyn at AMAs
At Sunday night's American Music Awards, pop superstar Lady Gaga once again courted controversy with her performance of Do What U Want, from her recently-released ARTPOP album. Just days after the nation marked the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Gaga donned a Marilyn Monroe wig for her duet with "President" R. Kelly, who summons her to the Oval Office for some hot moves atop the Resolute Desk. Although brief "homage" is also paid to former President Bill Clinton, the JFK theme is unmistakable.
Aside from the historical echoes, the performance itself was rather tame, even glamorous, but there will surely be some who view the duet as irreverent, given the proximity to the anniversary, and the song's lyrics. The JFK/Marilyn Monroe relationship has been romanticized and mythologized in American pop culture, but evoking it in this context is controversial.
On the other hand, this is not the first time that Gaga has emulated Marilyn Monroe, and the onscreen graphics at the end of the performance indicate that the display was at least as much about sexual image-making as historical intrigue.
Here's the clip, from the American Music Awards:

For the 2013 American Music Awards, Lady Gaga and R. Kelly performed "Do What U Want," the second single off her recent "ARTPOP" album. The performance started out with Kelly as the president and Gaga as his secretary -- looking a lot like Marilyn Monroe. Were they going for a JFK/Monroe vibe?It started with this exchange:Kelly: "Honey, I've had a bad day, can you bring me my lunch?Gaga: What are you hungry for, Mr. President?"Kelyl: "Girl, you've been working for me six long years, you know what I want. I want that Italian, I want that Italian, I want that Italian."Gaga: "Coming right up, Robert."Then after the big song-and-dance number, once the "affair" is outed on Instagram, Kelly storms off and Gaga sings all alone as newspapers with her headlines scroll in the background. It was weird, overwrought and also kind of boring, we thought. And perhaps in bad taste, two days after the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy's assassination? We'll post video as soon as we have it.

From Ke$ha and Pitbull's on-fiyahhhh " Timber" performance to Ariana Grande's show-stopping vocals, the 2013 American Music Awards stage has been a nonstop roller-coaster of pop insanity! Good thing we took a sec to pan over to the audience, though, 'cause otherwise we would've missed this absolutely ARRESTING photo of Lady Gaga and R. Kelly casually sharing a tender embrace.
We don't think there's anything we don't like about this picture. Like, we've got Lady Gaga pairing a shimmering, #AllSilverEverything ensemble with a platinum blonde wig gently resting her body on her " Do What U Want" collaborator, who BTW is holding a cigar and smiling as giddily as if he's a proud papa in the delivery room! Are we seeing a visual preview of their performance tonight? Is this the hood ornament of our dreams? Our future wedding cake topper??
NO, WAIT! This is, like, the most mind-blowingly sensual supermarket romance novel cover we've ever SEEN. Can't you just imagine the title spread over their heads in a romantic, serif-filled font? "Do What U Want With My Milkmaid Body"? "Love In The Time Of ARTPOP"? "The Bridges Of Madison LET'S HAVE SEX"? (And, Gaga is obviously Fabio in this scenario. I mean, look at that long-as-eff Donatella Versace wig. C'mon.) UGH, do whatcha want with my bo-dayyy in-DEED.

Lady Gaga Said That Chief Keef's Music Is the "S**t She Does Like" Currently
Tonight at the American Music Awards red carpet, Lady Gaga arrived to the festivities on horseback. She was asked who she is currently listening to. Saying that she is a fan of the Chicago rap scene, Gaga specifically named Chief Keef as someone whose music is being replayed on her Heartbeats. Coincidentally enough, Keef himself was watching the AMA red carpet, and saw Gaga make these comments live.
Is a collaboration imminent? It's worth noting that both artists are on Interscope Records.

Versace also shared the first photograph of the ARTPOP artist in her new role, who we can't help but think is channeling Donatella Versace. Gaga is donning a revealing lilac dress and long blond locks, while reclining in a lounge chair. She completes the stunning look with a purple statement ring, stacked rings and pale peach lips.
The Grammy winner took to Twitter to express her excitement, writing "I'm so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring? ."

Lady Gaga's missing sketch on SNL gets a second look after being thrown ...
By Jennifer Pearson
PUBLISHED: 13:01 EST, 24 November 2013 | UPDATED: 13:01 EST, 24 November 2013
There's usually a reason why a skit ends up on the cutting room floor and in this case seasickness might have been the cause.
Yet Lady Gaga's not-so-funny sketch First Female Sea Captains has managed to resurface on the internet allowing Saturday Night Live fans a glimpse of what they missed when the Poker Face singer did double duty as host and musical guest on November 16.
Lady Gaga is seen in full sea captain garb from cap to heavy navy coat as she struggles to steer the ship, her face contorting comically.
'The salty air's grizzled our voices and worn away our feminine charms!' the entertainer blasts in her best seafaring shout.
The sketch begins with an overly dramatic voiceover explaining, 'Centuries ago, Portsbridge, Connecticut was a quaint but prosperous whaling town selling everything from whale oil to... whales. Just pieces of whales.
'It was the jewel of New England! Until one day, all of the sea captains in the town fell ill of scurvy. Or herpes. We'll never know which one. Although they definitely had plenty of Vitamin C... But I digress.'
The voiceover continues: 'With the fate of the town in their hands, the womenfolk replaced their husbands at the helm of the ship. They became the first Female Sea Captains!'
'This is life on the open ocean,' one of the cast members dressed up as a rowdy second mate shouts in Gaga's ear.
Another lady sailor breaks in to tell them, 'Fellow female sea captains, I've just come from the crow's nest!'
'Nonsense, I can barely notice your crows feet!' Lady Gaga replies.
'No, I said crow's nest!' the sailor repeats emphatically.
'On, my mistake,' Lady Gaga corrects.
When the sailor says she fears they have lost their way, Lady Gaga asserts: 'That is no worry at all for we female sea captains are very comfortable pulling over and asking for directions.'
Through the telescope she spies a trio of bare-chested men with pretty green tails relaxing on the rocks.
'It's a merman!' she shouts. 'Don't be fooled by their devilish merman charms. They are not good long-term prospects.'
Then they all sing a song: 'What do we with a drunken sailor ... hold their hair while she pukes.'
A male stowaway in striped shirt is found, and he tells one sailor that he doesn't like her eye patch, 'it's so 1831.'
'He must catwalk the plank!' Gaga orders, and as the stowaway dances and prances on the wooden beam he says his final words: 'I'm so overboard.'
'I feel terrible taking a man's life like that,' Gaga scoffs while the camera pans to the stowaway getting cosy with the three mermen on the rocks.
The sketch also features a white whale a la Moby Dick, with the singer belching out: 'There she blows! It's the white whale herself... Slay this foul creature once and for all... She borrowed my earrings and never gave them back. And then she started seeing my ex-boyfriend... Let's attack and send that beast between the devil and the deep blue sea.'
The skit ends with the ladies dancing and singing a diddy.
Lady Gaga's Versace Ad Channels Donatella's Signature Look (PHOTO)
Just as we all suspected, Lady Gaga is the newest face of Versace -- and it's a pretty darn good pairing.
The Versace brand tweeted the news this Saturday confirming Gaga the face of the Spring/Summer 2014 campaign, shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. Oh, and the campaign has its own hashtag: #VersaceLovesGaga.
And Gaga loves Versace: Not only does Gaga's long blonde hair (er, wig?) in the ad channel Donatella's signature look, the singer has also proven herself to be one of the Italian design house's most loyal fans over the past few years. Donatella opened the Versace archives for the very first time for a music video to outfit Gaga in her 2011 "Edge of Glory" video, and Versace proceeded to dress Gaga for her 2012 Born This Way concert tour. This year, Gaga paid her blonde pal back with a single on her ARTPOP album entitled "Donatella," in which she sings, "Who's that bitch, she's so thin, She's so rich, and so blonde, She so fab, it's beyond..."
Now Donatella has extended the ultimate BFF gift: a spot in the new ad campaign. What do you think of the result?
