Lady Gaga led the last dance at Roseland on Friday.
Before a sold-out house of 3,200 fans, the club-friendly star performed the first of seven shows, fated to be the final performances at a hall that has endured in the city for nearly 100 years.
Naturally, Gaga dressed for the occasion - in six different ways, no less.
At the start, she appeared in a hat adorned with blue roses, fashioned into thick horns. Beneath her weighty crown, Gaga's hair flowed Mermaid-long down a getup that made her look like a gargoyle trapeze artist.
Despite the whimsical couture, she opened with an extremely earnest take on "Born This Way," recast as an overwrought ballad, with her seated at the piano.
"I love the Roseland," she shoe-horned into this song of self-acceptance.
Gaga didn't stay seated long. Her brief, and snappy, one-hour set favored metal-studded disco songs, fleshed out by a ham-fisted five-piece band. Along with 11 stately dancers, Gaga shuttled between several rose-covered risers, plus a second stage adorned with a fixture of her live shows: a replica of an F Train subway car.
It made an appropriately local backdrop for Roseland. While this long, narrow venue may be cursed with fractured acoustics and compromised sight lines, Gaga's sense of occasion gave the place a last gasp of life. She referenced the setting in outfits anointed with purple or red roses. She, likewise, festooned her portable keyboard with the ruby flower.
Appropriate to such a history-minded event, Gaga featured more old hits than new, from "Just Dance" and "Bad Romance" to "You & I" and "Poker Face" (also reconfigured as a ballad).
Her fresh songs, from "Applause" to "G.U.Y.," don't vary much from the most familiar ones. However catchy they all may be, they're over-indebted to tacky dance and rock styles held over from the '80s. Think Laura Brannigan backed by Meatloaf.
The night also marked Gaga's birthday (her 28th), which she celebrated as her parents gazed at her from the balcony.
The brevity of the show couldn't help but give it a certain perfunctory feel. Certainly, it couldn't compete with that vomit stunt from her recent South By Southwest appearance.
Perhaps it did enough, though, by simply mirroring aspects of Roseland itself. They're both a bit gaudy, a tad focused on the past, yet each a part of the pop fabric.

Lady Gaga rocks week's worth of crazy outfits leading to birthday
JB NICHOLAS for the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Someone is getting sick of dressing for wintry weather.
Lady Gaga showed an uptick in crazy costumes while she was out and about in Manhattan this week.
Her one-of-a-kind outfits ranged from a voluminous alien-chic ensemble, complete with spike-soled platforms to a charcoal leonine getup and a "Jetsons"-style dress with visor and white sneakers.
Gaga, who turned 28 on Friday, strutted a sparkly, fuchsia suit and UFO saucer hat to talk to 92.3 NOW about her newest gig.
She will perform for the closing of the 95-year-old Roseland Ballroom with a seven-night residency, starting Friday.
She will need a lot of outfits, so consider this a preview.
Lady Gaga Turns 28 — Happy Birthday
It's been quite a year for .She released her amazing number-one album, Artpop, posed topless multiple times (and looked fabulous), and made one of the best awards show entrances ever on a human-powered horse at the AMAs. She also let someone puke on her on stage, but let's focus on the positive and see what else Mama Monster has to celebrate!
Lady Gaga Birthday - Singer/Performer Turns 28
She lives for the applause and we live to applaud her! The most amazing thing about Lady Gaga is that she seems to outdo herself every year.
She released her second number-one album, Artpop, on Nov. 11, 2013 to rave reviews. The album has spawned the successful singles "Applause", "Do What U Want", featuring R. Kelly, and now "G.U.Y.", which Gaga released on her 28th birthday. What an awesome birthday gift for her little monsters!
Lady Gaga also made her screen debut, starring as La Chameleón in Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills. Her performance earned her a Golden Raspberry nomination for Worst Supporting Actress, but hey, at least she tried something new!
Lady Gaga also hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time in 2013, which is a huge honor for any star. Not only was she hilarious in a skit dissing Kanye West, but she also brought down the house with her sexy performance of "Do What U Want" with R. Kelly.
We can't believe how much she's accomplished in just one year! Of course, we know Lady Gaga still has so many more tricks up her sleeve and we can't wait to see them all!
Happy birthday, Lady Gaga - we hope your 28th year will be your best one yet!

Lady Gaga Takes Stage For First Of 7
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - New York nativeLady Gaga kicked off her seven-night homecoming run at the Roseland Ballroom Friday night.
The iconic New York City venue is closing its doors for good once Gaga's performances are through on April 7, 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported.
Roseland Ballroom opened at its first location on West 51st Street in 1919. Then in 1956, the venue moved to West 52nd Street with the likes of Madonna, Beyonce, and The Rolling Stones gracing its stage over the years.
Gaga said Roseland was a place her mother didn't want her to go to, but New York's home-grown star went anyway, D'Auria reported.
Most of Gaga's little monsters (her fans) weren't concerned about the venue's history, just the music.
"She's a really great performer. Very talented. Singing, dancing, all of it," said fan Susan.
Fan Allen said Gaga has enough talent to give Roseland a classy finish.
"She plays several different instruments. She can play the piano, the guitar, sings, dances. A little of everything."
But Kevin, who is not only a Gaga fan but also a Roseland fan, said the venue has "great acoustics and it's a shame that the building is gonna be torn down and put into a high-rise. A lot of great memories here."
Another fan, Ian, told D'Auria a lot about Roseland's rich history.
"This is an old ballroom. They used to charge 11 cents a dance and have bouncers called house boys that would stop people from getting out of hand," Ian said.
After Roseland closes, it will eventually be replaced by apartments.

Lady Gaga's “GUY” Video Has Been Trimmed To Four Minutes: Watch The New ...
Lady Gaga's (almost) 12 minute-running ARTPOP film has been edited down to a more manageable four minutes - meaning "G.U.Y." essentially now has its own video. This is a wise move because the extended version is a lot to process in one sitting. Not that it stopped Little Monsters. The opus has already racked up 18 million+ views on YouTube.
The thing is, "G.U.Y." will need all those views and more. Despite the blockbuster visual, Lady Gaga's new single is struggling to break into the top 150 on iTunes and only debuted at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 Bubbling Under Chart. The popularity of the video will ensure a huge rise on next week's countdown, so it's not all doom and gloom. Watch (again) up top.

Lady Gaga To Open GUY Hotel In Times Square In Celebration Of 28th Birthday
By Alicia Adejobi On March 28, 2014
Lady Gaga will be celebrating her 28th birthday in dramatic fashion today by launching her own gallery in New York City's Times Square which will feature a number of props and outfits seen in the music video for her latest single 'G.U.Y.' which premiered this week.
The 'Born This Way' star premiered the epic 11-minute long visuals for the 'ARTPOP' track this week and as expected, it wasn't short of typical Gaga madness with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills making an appearance as a harp-playing band and Andy Cohen's head floating in the clouds.
To mark the already iconic video and her 28th birthday, the 'Applause' singer will be opening The Lady Gaga Gallery at The Out NYC later today, completely transforming the resort into The G.U.Y. Hotel where fans can view some of the items which featured in the promo clip.
So, if you want to clasp eyes on the bow and arrow Gaga was injured with or play the harp, then you know where to go!
As if that wasn't enough, one lucky visitor at the gallery will be in with the chance to win a pair of ticket's to Gaga's sold-out show at New York's Roseland Ballroom on April 7.
Teasing fans with the first show at the Roseland Ballroom tomorrow night, Gaga tweeted yesterday: "48hrs till ROSELAND. Calling all ticket holders this is a BALL I expect some GLAMNESTY. Famers, Monsters, Born This Wayers, and ARTPOPISTS!"
Lady Gaga and Rita Ora take the Nineties' revival one rip beyond
Baggy, high-waisted, unflattering and extensively ripped jeans are being revived by pop stars too young to remember them the first time around
BY Olivia Bergin | 28 March 2014
It would appear that two of the world's most annoying pop stars have got more in common than erm, being annoying.
We didn't have eternally attention-seeking Lady Gaga and Rihanna wannabe Rita Ora down as sisters in style, but the pair have both been pushing our taste boundaries when it comes to jeans.
Championing the late Eighties/ Nineties fashion revival that has been gently simmering on Planet Fashion, the vocally-blessed pair resurrected all that we, with the power of hindsight, know in our hearts was plain wrong with jeans from that era. They also pulled off the coup almost simultaneously, each on a different side of the Atlantic.
Greeting fans in Manhattan, Gaga, 28, could have passed for Garth Algar, the loveable slacker from cult Nineties film Wayne's World yesterday. Her 'band T-shirt' paid tribute to Joe Pesci, the late Goodfellas star, while her Dog Harajuku jeans, worn over fishnet tights, were plenty ripped, high-waisted and shapeless. We'd take a pair of unflattering mom jeans over this style any day. Let's not even start on that daft wig, because we don't want to give Garth Gaga any more attention.
Then, the morning after, out steps 23-year-old Rita Ora from a people carrier wearing a strong contender for our worst outfits of 2014 awards. Did she get dressed in the dark? We can't fathom why else she would wear a dip-dyed, Just Cavalli fur jumper with a pair of, £895, over-zealously sequinned jeans. While we are firm fans of Ashish, the creator of said jeans (who if you hadn't guessed, has a wicked way with sequins - just check out this 'shopping bag') this pair, in all their baggy horror just aren't floating our boat.
Not even Ora's playful Sophia Webster sandals (£395) adorned with 'Sweet Talk' speech bubles, can redeem this catastrophe.
Here's a suggestion - how about Rita and Gaga, who are looked up to by millions of fashion-conscious fans, mend this affection with a needle and thread...
Lady Gaga Celebrates 28th Birthday With Macabre "27 Club" Joke
E! Entertainment
Happy 28th birthday, Lady Gaga!
The "G.U.Y." singer's actual b-day is today, but she kicked off celebrations Thursday night in New York City, even cracking a macabre joke about hitting the big 2-8, telling fans, "I made it past 27!"
Gaga is well aware of the tragic "27 Club"-the nickname given to the group of performers who died just three years before turning 30-and she made it clear she didn't want to be a "member." The list of "members" includes Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Brian Jones.
VIDEO: Watch Lady Gaga's "GUY" music video
But in a Z100 radio interview last year, a 26-year-old Gaga made her intentions of growing older very clear. "I want to show people that I will last past 27," she said, "and I will last longer, and so will you."
"I want to change this code in the atmosphere that in order to be remembered, I must die young. In order to be remembered as a legend, I must be dead first," she said. "This is unhealthy."
Mother Monster, as you can see, is happy not to have been touched by the curse of 27. And for good reason, she celebrated being 28 with enthusiasm. As shown in a fan's Instagram video, Gaga danced excitedly as her Little Monsters sang "Happy Birthday" and threw confetti in the air. She tweeted a link to the cute clip, adding, "I love my fans best birthday ever."
Here's to celebrating many, many more! Happy birthday, Gaga!

Niall Horan Joins Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga On Queen Elizabeth's BFF List
Sorry, all other boy-band fan armies, but it looks like Queen Elizabeth II stans for One Direction. On Tuesday night, the U.K. monarch held an Irish Community Reception at Buckingham Palace, inviting Niall Horan and about 299 other Irish people who are not Niall Horan over for a casual very formal and dignified hang.
While we'd understandably be flipping our collective sh** over the opportunity to add the " Midnight Memories " singer's digits to our cell (EVEN A FAKE NUMBER! ANYTHING!), #TheQueen was probably all: "Yawn, another pop star... I am most nonplussed by this happenstance."
Don't you know how many of our favorite celebs she's met over the years? There's Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran - even the Spice Girls! If we tell you what we want, what we really, really want, do you promise not to laugh?

Lady Gaga Bleaches Eyebrows, Loves Attention
As part of her ongoing effort to get every set of eyes in the world looking at her, Lady Gaga posted an intimate and unusual selfie to Twitter last night.
View As List
"Just finished a long day of rehearsals. Feels so good to sweat!!! Off to bed," the singer tweeted along with the above close-up photo. At first, it's hard to tell what's different about her, but look closely and you'll realize: Gaga has no eyebrows!
Okay, she technically still has brows, but she's bleached them so that they're basically the same color as her skin, and like everything the Mother Monster does, it looks weird.
No word on why she thought this was a good idea or if she's planning to keep the unusual dye job, but it's just the latest in a long series of bizarre fashion statements from Gaga.
(Check out her video for "G.U.Y." as a reminder of how strange this Lady can get.)
We're not repulsed by this new look, but we think Gaga could stand to learn a lesson from Bart Simpson: hair the same color as your flesh doesn't work for everyone.

Lady Gaga Is Submissive to Boyfriend Taylor Kinney, Says "He's Totally In Charge"
Say what, big monster?! Lady Gaga has complete control on stage and on camera, but back home she's willing to let her man take charge. The "Applause" singer admitted during a radio interview on Sirius XM's The Morning Mash Up on Monday, March 24 that she's submissive to boyfriend Taylor Kinney.

"Yes, actually," the 27-year-old Grammy winner said. "He's totally in charge. I mean, when I am home, I am like, shoes are off, I'm making him dinner. He has a job, too, and he is really busy!"
"I'm in charge all day long, the last thing I want to do is tell him what to do," she explained. "It's not good for relationships to tell men what to do."

And, in case fans think the handsome, clean-cut actor seems too white bread for the likes of Gaga, think again! Lady Gaga's 'GUY': Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards on How 'Real Housewives ...
Lady Gaga's opulent, eye-popping "G.U.Y" video is a prime example of what the singer does best: complete sensory overload. During the 11-minute clip, the self-directed video filmed in California's palatial Hearst Castle depicts the singer as a broken bird wounded and left for dead by money-hungry men in suits. It shows her resuscitating the comatose bodies of Jesus Christ, Ghandi and Michael Jackson. It features synchronized swimmers, massed oiled troops of undraped male extras and Bravo's reality czar Andy Cohen smiling shirtlessly down from the heavens.
The video also makes room for the stars of Cohen's most durable franchise, the Real Housewives. Five featured players from the Beverly Hills iteration, Lisa Vanderpump, Yolanda Foster, Carlton Gebbia and Kyle and Kim Richards show up lip-syncing and pseudo-strumming instruments. Two Housewives, Kyle Richards and Vanderpump, herself a veteran of the classic 1983 ABC video "Poison Arrow," accompany Gaga as she wreaks homicidal revenge on the corporate clones who left her facedown in the dirt at the outset of the video.
How did they get the job? What was Gaga like as a director? And how did the famously volatile Housewives stand being around one another? The Hollywood Reporter got the lowdown from Vanderpump and Kyle Richards.
How were you approached to be in the video?
Kyle Richards: Bravo contacted me and said you've been asked to be in a video. We had to sign a nondisclosure agreement before we found out who it was. I was so curious, and then when I saw, I was completely blown away.
PHOTOS: 'Real Housedog' Giggy: The Secret Life of the 1 Percent Pet
Lisa Vanderpump: I had a pretty rough time on Housewives this year to the point that when they came to me and asked me to do it, I said: "Let the others do it. I'm not having a good time with the other women." Then they said, "It's Lady Gaga." I have a bit of a history with her because she's been supportive of Vanderpump Rules, she's even tweeted about it, and that's a big deal when you've got 40 million followers. But I spoke to Andy [Cohen]and said, "I don't feel up to spending the day with these other women -- they're just too mean and bitchy." Next day, the phone rings, and a voice says, "Hi Lisa, it's Lady Gaga," and I said, "Right, and I'm Winston Churchill." Suddenly, Andy was in the background going, "Lady Vanderpump meet Lady Gaga." I said I'd do it, but on one condition. I want backup. I want the Giggster (Giggy, her trademark Pomeranian). She said, "I'd love to have the Giggster in it."
This is Gaga's first time directing a video. How did she do?
Richards: I was so impressed watching her direct. She's an absolute artistic genius and perfectionist. It was a huge production, but she'd take the time go over and make sure the swimmers were OK. She was just professional and hands on from A to Z.
Vanderpump: She's very much in control. It wasn't like she was a shadow director in any shape or form. It's hard to understand that she's, what, 28 years old? To me, that was mind-blowing. This is a much older head on very young shoulders.
Was she aware of your TV personas?
Richards: We talked a lot about the show, and as we talked, I was thinking, "I can't believe she watches our show and knows all about my life." There was one scene in the video where it was just Lady Gaga and me, and she looked back and said something like, "This is just like what happened in that scene with [Richards' husband] Mauricio."
Vanderpump: She's very Bravo-aware. She's right in the center of pop culture, and Housewives is very much of the culture. I think you'd be surprised how many people watch it; people come up to me that I think would never watch our hot mess. I think the first lady even said she watches it.
PHOTOS: The 'Ex-Real Housewives' Club Did she communicate a clear idea of what she wanted from you?
Richards: She wanted us to feel and look beautiful and fierce. There was one scene where I kill a man. She was like, "I want you to whip that ponytail even more. Go back and really exaggerate your head-flipping. I was like, "Whatever you say." Even if I get whiplash, it's OK. Lady Gaga told me to do it.
Vanderpump: To get me into a lace bodysuit, there's not many people I'd do that for. I'm 53 years old, for God's sake. She said, "This is what you're wearing." I looked at this thing, and it was lace head-to-toe lingerie. I thought, "Jesus," but then I thought, "OK, you're Lisa Gaga."
The four Housewives first show up in the video as a band-playing instruments. Was there jockeying for position over who sits where or who plays what?
Richards: When Lisa and I shot with [Gaga] alone, she told us we were going to be playing a girl band, and I said, "Oh, can I please play the guitar?" I'd been taking lessons; I'm a frustrated rock star. So they gave me a guitar. I know how to hold it. I know the right key ... not the key. See how professional I am?
Vanderpump: Gaga gave me a tambourine. That's the only instrument I could be trusted with.
What do you think of the finished product?
Richards: Wow, it's art. It's beautiful art.
Lisa, did you get on with the other women?
Vanderpump: I had to, really. One wasn't there, and that was Brandi Glanville. So that was a bonus. You can quote me on that.
Lady Gaga Looks Ahead To Closing Roseland Ballroom with Seven Night ...
Toro
Listen to Toro weeknights 6-10.
The world-renowned artist, Lady Gaga came in to talk to 92.3 NOW's DJ Toro about her string of upcoming shows right here in New York as she closes up the iconic Roseland Ballroom for good, starting this Friday, March 28th. The Roseland Ballroom has been one of the city's most well known music and dance venues for decades and Gaga even reminisced about her most vivid memory there while growing up here in the city.
"Well, I actually went to see Franz Ferdinand at Roseland when I was just getting out of high school. And I broke my nose at the show because I got thrown into a mosh pit and then I went to a bar with my girlfriends and I used my fake Delaware ID to get in and I was using a bud light to nurse my freshly broken nose. I had to lie to my mom and say that I walked into a door or something but she knew what had occurred," said Gaga.
Mother Monster is set to be the final performer on the Roseland stage. After 95 years, the doors are closing for good. Growing up, Gaga started performing in smaller venues that held less than 200 people and now her concerts at Roseland are sold out at more than 3,800 each night.
92.3 NOW Presents Lady Gaga Roseland Ballroom | March 31, 2014
"I'm so excited to be closing it out. I've played so many venues in New York but they were all smaller, The Cutting Room, the Bitter End, I've played CBGBs, I've played the Knitting Factory, I've played Arlene's Grocery and then I had some hit singles and I started to play The Garden and started to play stadiums all over the world and it's nice to come back and now play a venue that I couldn't fill back in the beginning because it holds two thousand people and I'm playing seven shows in a residency and I'm starting on my birthday," said Gaga.
The closing of the Roseland Ballroom is a big deal for her as well as native New Yorkers and music fanatics alike. She thinks her show will do justice to all the performers that have played there over the years and will help leave a legacy that everyone will remember.
"I'm excited, I don't feel like I'm leaving just my legacy, I feel like I'm leaving the legacy of many artists that have played on that stage, and it's important to acknowledge the history. We've put together a really nostalgic show and it's really a blend of the Monster Ball and the Born This Way Ball and the ARTPOP Ball actually with a little bit of the Fame Ball which was my very first baby tour," said Gaga.

Akon on not working with Lady Gaga: 'I cashed out while it was hot'
Akon has revealed that he no longer works with Lady Gaga because she has already reached her peak.
The 'Poker Face' star was originally signed to Akon's Kon Live label, but he ended the deal "before it was too late". The comments come at the 3:40 mark in the video below.
"I got out while the gooding (sic) was hot. It's like a business, you build it to sell it," Akon told US DJ Sway on his radio show.
"When I got it to the peak of where I felt it couldn't go nowhere, and there was nowhere left to go but down, I cashed out, in other words I sold my share and got out before it was too late."
A fellow DJ on the show then added that the sales for ARTPOP didn't match Gaga's previous successes, to which Akon replied: "That's why I got out."
Lady Gaga's latest album went Top 10 in over 30 countries worldwide upon its release back in November.
The collection landed at number one in major music markets in the US, UK and Japan.

Lady Gaga: Boyfriend Taylor Kinney is 'in charge' in relationship
Christopher Polk/NBC/NBC via Getty Images
Lady Gaga might be Mama Monster to the rest of us, but she's fine being submissive with boyfriend Taylor Kinney.
"He's totally in charge," Gaga, 27, said of her "Chicago Fire" actor beau.
"I mean, when I am home, I am like, shoes are off, I'm making him dinner. He has a job, too, and he is really busy!"
The "Artpop" singer talked about the dynamics of her relationship in an interview with Sirius XM's the Morning Mashup.
"I'm in charge all day long, the last thing I want to do is tell him what to do ... It's not good for relationships to tell men what to do."
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, has been dating Kinney, 32, since 2011. They have both commented on how their relationship "works" because of their many similarities outside of the spotlight.
"I'm reserved. She's not," Kinney told E! News at the Golden Globe Awards in January. "For whatever reason, it works. It works and that's that."
Gaga revealed it isn't exactly a case of opposites attracting - she called her man a "hidden weirdo" in an "Ellen" interview last year.
"He is extremely strange, actually," the singer said in November. "And we complement each other's weirdness."
"At the end of the day he's my best friend ... and having your lover be your best friend, I mean, it's the best thing ever."
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Split 'With Hearts Full of Sadness'

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin made it more than a decade - and hey, in Hollywood years, that's roughly a lifetime.
After more than 10 years of marriage, the Oscar-winning Iron Man actress and Grammy-winning Coldplay singer are separating. They jointly announced their split Tuesday on Paltrow's website Goop.com, which crashed and was inaccessible as of this writing.

"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate," the statement read. "We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."
The two were married in 2003 and have two children together, 9-year-old Apple and 7-year-old Moses, arguably kicking off - or at least accelerating - a still-going trend of, shall we politely say ... unique baby names.
"We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time," the statement continued. "We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner."

Lady Gaga Says She's Submissive In Relationship With Taylor Kinney

Print Article
Lady Gaga might be in charge when it comes to her professional life, but she is apparently the submissive one in her personal life.
Gaga opened up about her role in her relationship with Taylor Kinney, whom she has been dating since 2011, while chatting with the hosts of Sirius XM's "The Morning Mash Up."
"Oh yeah, he's [Kinney], like, totally in charge," she responded when asked about being submissive. "When I'm home I'm, like, shoes are off, I'm making him dinner, you know? He has a job, too, and he's really busy. I'm in charge all day long. The last thing I wanna do is tell him what to do. We're just really good friends. It's not good for relationships to tell men what to do, female listeners who are out there."
Gaga hints at submission in her new music video, "G.U.Y.," which is an acronym for "Girl Under You."
"In the second scene, it's the girl under you in a more kind of sexual and submissive way," she explained on "Mash Up." "And, then at the end of the video, it's really about the ultimate power that women can feel in being on the bottom. ... Sometimes it's nice to not have to be in charge all the time. It's okay to let other people take charge as long as you're smart and cunning and have your wits about you."
As for Kinney, he talked about their romance to E! News in January, saying: "I'm reserved. She's not. For whatever reason, it works. It works and that's that."

She says the actor is "totally in charge" in their relationship.
Don't let the power strut and in-command voice fool you -- when it comes to love, Lady Gaga is a softie.
In fact, the singer admits to submitting to traditional gender roles in her relationship with hunky Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney.
"He's totally in charge. I mean, when I am home, I am like, shoes are off, I'm making him dinner. He has a job, too, and he is really busy!" the pop star revealed during an interview on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up on Monday.
But, she clarifies, that doesn't mean she's abandoning her girl-power persona - she just wants a break from being the boss in her professional life.
"I'm in charge all day long, the last thing I want to do is tell him what to do. It's not good for relationships to tell men what to do."
Oh, OK.

Lady Gaga John Lennon Look
There are dozens of things that don't make sense in Lady Gaga's "G.U.Y." music video ... but TMZ has solved ... The Mystery of the Empty Coffin. In the video, which has over 13 million views on YouTube already, there's a part where Gaga resurrects Michael Jackson, Gandhi and Jesus from the dead ... and they emerge from smoke-filled coffins. But if you watched closely, you would have noticed 4 coffins ... but only 3 resurrections. TMZ has learned the fourth dead celeb was supposed to be John Lennon. We spoke with Alexander Karavay, who was cast for the part after submitting the photo below. He shot his scenes, but was cut from the final version.
Karavay says he's bummed he got the ax -- he'd told his family and friends he was in the video -- but he understands Gaga is an artist and perhaps it was her vision to cut him out. We're all at the mercy of Gaga.
Lady Gaga's 'GUY' Music Video: 12 Minutes of Eyebrow
Oh Gaga, you inspire/frighten us so.
The Mother Monster dropped her new music video - ahem, excuse us, "ArtPop film" - Saturday on NBC, and it's a doozy. The almost 12-minute video focuses on her single "G.U.Y.," but also features a medley of other tunes like "Manicure" and "Venus."
The film experience begins with Lady Gaga as a wounded bird-woman hybrid who has been shot down with an arrow. She drags herself to Heart Castle to endure some type of ancient Greek-like water-dancing religious rebirthing ceremony, which Bravo's Andy Cohen and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills preside over.
(The strangest part about all this may be housewife Lisa Vanderpump's off-beat tambourine playing.)
Then there's some messy subplot in which Gaga resurrects Michael Jackson, who is recreated in Legos, which proves Gaga knows what sells on Tumblr.
And we'd be seriously amiss to not mention the four-minute rolling credits section, which makes sure to give special shout-outs to the "male models/clones" and "historic maintenance" staff the pop star had on call.
So presented without (further) ado:
