Kelly Osbourne apologises to Lady Gaga for her 'childish' Twitter outburst ...

Is there any of that cake still going?

If someone offered us a rather creamy looking, mouthwatering cake with our name written in pink icing as a peace offering for being a bit nasty to us, we'd most definitely forgive them for just about anything. Baked goods are the way to our heart. But Kelly Obsourne wasn't so impressed when Lady Gaga did just that after her performance on the X Factor weekend, as she presented Kel's mum Sharon with a gigantic birthday cake for her daughter, as a peace offering for their very public feud. We reckon if it had been a caterpillar cake, things would have gone more smoothly. Actually, 'wasn't so impressed' is a bit of an understatement. Kelly was FUMING that Gaga had dared to give her such a delicious looking sorry, and even told her to "Eat my sh*t", as well as "I like desert, but i prefer the truth... it's sweeter", and "#StefaniStopIt!. You are so far behind you think you are first! I live for a #Cause not for the #Applause!!!!!!!" The pair have been at war with one another since Lady G wrote one of those bloody open letters to Kelly last year, addressing all the criticism that she'd given her on the E! show, Fashion Police, after Kelly suggested she looked preggers in her Grammys outfit. As a result of that, Gaga's ever loyal monsters then sent approximately ten million death threats to Kelly. ANYWAY, back to cake related matters, Kelly has decided that actually, buttercream icing is a pretty good way to make friends, and has apologised for her outburst. "I acted like a child last night," Kelly tweeted to Gaga sheepishly. "Just not into publicity stunts call me & we will end this like adults I dont want 2 fight anymore." Err... so are we both alright here then, gals? Shall we all just have a slice of red velvet and forget this ever happened? No soggy bottoms please, and chuck us a bit with extra icing, tah. What do you think of this whole drama? Did Kel need to apologise for going a bit mental at Gaga's cakey prezzie? Or was Gaga's apology not good enough?

Kelly Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne has called a truce with Lady Gaga.

The star reached out to her long-time rival after her online outburst on Sunday (27.10.13) when Gaga attempted to quash her feud with the Osbournes by presenting showbiz matriarch Sharon with a birthday cake to mark her daughter Kelly's 29th birthday.

Gaga posed with Sharon and the cake after performing on 'The X Factor' UK and a furious Kelly went on a Twitter rampage upon seeing the picture, telling the 'Applause' singer ''eat my sh*t'' and branding her a hypocrite.

Kelly has since taken to Twitter to apologise, saying: ''@ladygaga I acted like a child last night. Just not into publicity stunts call me & we will end this like adults I dont want 2 fight anymore (sic)''.

It appears the purple-haired star has agreed to forgive and forget after Sharon - who hugged it out with Gaga on Sunday night - appeared to do the same.

Sharon tweeted on Sunday: ''Blown away by Lady Gaga's performance and graciousness.''

The Osbournes have been involved in a bitter feud with Gaga for months, with Sharon branding the eccentric singer - whose Born This Way Foundation campaigns against bullying - a ''publicity-seeking hypocrite'' for letting her fans send threatening messages to her daughter Kelly after she blasted Gaga's 2012 Grammy Awards outfit.

The pop superstar has yet to publicly respond to Kelly's peace offering, but graciously told her followers - who she calls her Little Monsters - not to respond to Kelly's initial messages with angry words.

She posted: ''Monsters, please just focus on the positive of tonight's performance and do not send any hateful messages. I don't support it. #SpreadLove''.

Kelly Osbourne is eating her words - and maybe some cake as well.

The "Fashion Police" star apologized to Lady Gaga after inexplicably telling the singer to "eat my s--t" for sending a birthday cake.

@ladygaga I acted like a child last night. Just not into publicity stunts call me & we will end this like adults I dont want 2 fight anymore

"@ladygaga I acted like a child last night," Osbourne wrote Monday. "Just not into publicity stunts call me & we will end this like adults I dont want 2 fight anymore."

Earlier, Osbourne, 29, publicly responded to a gesture from Gaga, 27, with some not-so-kind words.

"Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the (world) away?" Osbourne tweeted on Sunday. "JustSendItToMe #LoveNotWar."

@KellyOsbourne I didn't know it was your B-day until this afternoon. Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday. pic.twitter.com/VjQi7wHn2Z

- Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) October 27, 2013

"I didn't know it was your B-day until this afternoon," Gaga wrote back. "Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday."

But instead of taking the well-wishes, on Instagram, Osbourne added the captions "eat my s-t" and "hypocrisy" to a photo of the cake.

PHOTOS: WORST CELEBRITY FEUDS

Without much context, Osbourne's words seem to be a bit extreme. But the pair has been embroiled in a feud since 2009.

On an episode of "Fashion Police," the outspoken Brit called Gaga a "butterface," indicating that although her body is beautiful, the rest of her is less appealing.

"Your work on E! with the 'Fashion Police' is rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people's beauty against one another," Gaga responded.

And so did thousands of devoted "Little Monsters." The singer's fans attacked Osbourne on Twitter, prompting her mother, Sharon Osbourne, to brand the "Applause" singer a "bully" for motivating the supporters to jump to her defense.

"I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter," Sharon Osbourne, 61, wrote at the time.

From the looks of her birthday gift, Gaga has at least made peace with Osbourne's mother since then. Now it appears the purple-haired host wants to finally follow suit and settle their score in private.

Lady Gaga's X Factor performance sparks hundreds of complaints

A performance by Lady Gaga on ITV's the X Factor, in which the singer cavorted on stage in flesh-coloured underwear and a bra made out of a pair of shells, has prompted 260 complaints from viewers.

Gaga appeared on the Sunday night results edition of the talent show performing her singles, Do What U Want and Venus.

About 200 viewers complained to media regulator Ofcom about the explicit nature of the performance, broadcast before the 9pm watershed, with another 60 complaints received direct by ITV.

Now in its 10th series, the X Factor is no stranger to generating a little controversy with a scantily-clad performance by a big name female guest singer.

Appearances by Rihanna and Christina Aguilera have generated a flurry of complaints in past series.

In 2011, the dance routines by Rihanna and Aguilera were both cleared of breaching broadcasting rules by Ofcom, but the regulator said they were "at the limit" of acceptability for a pre-watershed broadcast.

Jennifer Lopez's performance in another Simon Cowell-produced talent show on ITV, Britain's Got Talent, earlier this year also prompted complaints, but Ofcom decided not to investigate.

It remains to be seen whether the regulator will decide to launch a formal investigation of Sunday night's performance by Gaga.

An ITV spokeswoman said: "We do not believe Lady Gaga's performance was inappropriate for the family audience of the X Factor Results show, which has an established tradition of featuring performances from the biggest music stars.

"Lady Gaga is well known for her highly individual performance style."

Lady Gaga releases new song 'Venus'

Lady Gaga has landed, and she doesn't just want your applause - she wants you to take her to your planet.

Mother Monster debuted her latest single off ARTPOP over the weekend - a nearly four-minute long dance-pop song titled "Venus." In it, Gaga belts space-themed lyrics infused with references to the planet's mythical counterpart, Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love. "Let's blast off to a whole new dimension/In your bedroom," she sings. "Take me to your planet/Take me to your leader."

Gaga goes on to list the names of the planets ("Mercury, Jupi-tah") ending with Uranus and Mars, and cheekily rhyming the former with the line, "Don't you know my ass is famous." It's catchy, though the extraterrestrial theme's sure to draw comparisons to Katy Perry's " E.T. " from 2010 - a comparison Gaga would probably like to avoid.

ARTPOP drops Nov. 11. Check out the audio for "Venus," accompanied by an image of Gaga in metallic paint accessorized with a scorpion, below.

Kelly Osbourne Apologizes to Lady Gaga, Says She "Acted Like a Child"

Who would have thought that a tweet would be sweeter than some birthday cake? After a very public Twitter fight on Oct. 27, Kelly Osbourne is ready to bury the hatchet with pop star .

"@ladygaga I acted like a child last night. Just not into publicity stunts call me & we will end this like adults I don't want 2 fight anymore," the purple-haired E! star tweeted on Oct. 28.

PHOTOS: Kelly Osbourne's body evolution

The A-Listers' latest feud started after Gaga visited the X Factor UK set and posed with Kelly's mother Sharon Osbourne holding a birthday cake for Kelly.

The pastry may have been sweet, but Osbourne didn't perceive it that way. The opinionated star took to Twitter to share her frustrations saying, "Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the would away? #JustSendItToME #LoveNotWar."

She also posted a picture of the cake with the caption, "#EatMySh-t #Hypocrisy," but the post as since been taken down.

PHOTOS: Biggest celebrity feuds ever

This celebrity feud originated long before bakers got involved. In 2009 Osbourne called Gaga a "butterface," causing the iconic crooner's band of loyal fans to launch into a series of threats against the Brit.

Gaga later penned an open letter to the Fashion Police star, criticizing her career choice saying, "Your work on E! with the Fashion Police is rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people's beauty against one another."

But it was Sharon Osbourne who criticized Gaga's note, saying the eccentric star was bullying her daughter.

Clearly Mama Osbourne and Gaga have made up. After the "Applause" singer performed on The X Factor UK, the red-headed judge tweeted, "Blown away by Lady Gaga's performance and graciousness."

Lady Gaga Explores Solar System in 'Venus'

Lady Gaga makes a circuit around the solar system, or maybe just creates an elaborate metaphor for sex, on her new song "Venus," the latest in a string of tunes she singer has promised to share in the run-up to the November 11th release of her new album, ARTPOP.

A booming club beat anchors the song as Gaga describes her look ("Aphrodite lady, seashell bikini"), ponders the sensual implications of interdimensional travel as practiced "in your bedroom" and demands, in classic space-alien parlance, to be taken to your leader. Although the song is called "Venus," Gaga name-checks other planets, which ultimately allows her to make a Uranus joke: "Don't you know my ass is famous?" she barks.

'ARTPOP' and 25 More Must-Hear Albums This Fall

Earlier this month, Gaga promised to release a new song every week until ARTPOP comes out. Last week's entry "Do What U Want," featuring R. Kelly, first appeared in a 30-second commercial. The singer also teased a snippet of "Aura" in a trailer for Machete Kills, in which Gaga appears as La Chameleón. The pop star released the first song from ARTPOP, "Applause," in August, and performed it on the MTV Video Music Awards.

"Each song on ARTPOP was inspired by different types of adrenalin, so it's an expression of the various rushes," Gaga said earlier this month on Twitter. "I want you to feel them."

Kelly Osbourne Calls Lady Gaga A Hypocrite And So Much More On Twitter ...

WHOOOOA!!! The claws have come out!

Kelly Osbourne's birthday was yesterday but it looks like it wasn't all happiness and celebrations! The Fashion Police star threw out some pretty heated tweets towards Lady GaGa!

Why, you may ask?

Welllllllll, the whole feud began when Gaga presented Kelly's mom, Miz Sharon Osbourne with a cake that said "Happy Birthday Kelly." after her performance on the X-Factor: UK last night.

Harmless? No waaaaaaay!

This whole "act" got Kelly preeeettttyyy mad, and justifiably so, so she did as any celeb does, and turned to Twitter to express her frustrations.

The tweet ended up catching GaGa's attention and this is what happened:

@KellyOsbourne I didn't know it was your B-day until this afternoon. Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday. pic.twitter.com/VjQi7wHn2Z

- Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) October 27, 2013

Shortly after, still not satisfied with GaGa's "peace offering," Kelly took to Instagram.

She posted this pic along with the caption "#EatMyShit #Hypocrisy":

But it didn't stop there.

Kelly went BACK to twitter to finish expressing her outrage.

Man oh man!! Looks like Kelly ain't taking ANY kind of publicity stunt "peace offering" from GaGa!

But, we mean, Kelly does kind of have a point!

Why give the cake to her mom? Sure they were in England together, but if it REALLY was a peace offering, she would have sent it directly to Kelly!

Sure, we all know Gaga can be a bit divalicious, but it can't be THAT hard to have a cake sent to someone! We're sure there are plenty of bakeries in El Lay that would have delivered it directly to Kelly!

What do U think of the feud!?! Who is in the right?!?!

Kelly Osbourne on Lady Gaga's Peace Offering: 'Eat My Sh

Lady Gaga made an appearance on The X Factor UK on Sunday (October 27) and tried to give a peace offering to Kelly Osbourne via her mom Sharon Osbourne, who is a judge on the show.

The 27-year-old "Applause" singer presented Sharon with a cake for Kelly, who celebrated her 29th birthday that day, but it was not met with graciousness from the birthday girl.

"Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the would away? #JustSendItToME #LoveNotWar," Kelly tweeted. She also posted a photo of the cake on Instagram with the hashtags "Eat my sh-it" and "Hypocrisy."

"#StefaniStopIt!" Kelly added. "You are so far behind you think you are first! I live for a #Cause not for the #Applause!!!!!!!"

Gaga responded to the tweets by saying, "I didn't know it was your B-day until this afternoon. Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday." After her fans start sending Kelly hate tweets, she added, "Monsters, please just focus on the positive of tonight's performance and do not send any hateful messages. I don't support it. #SpreadLove."

"Blown away by Lady Gaga's performance and graciousness," Sharon tweeted before Kelly sent out her messages.

Kelly Osbourne isn't too happy about Lady Gaga's birthday wishes.

In fact, she's downright offended. The "Fashion Police" host was peeved when Gaga, 27, presented her a birthday cake Sunday via her mother, Sharon, on the U.K. version of "The X Factor," reports US weekly.

"Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the (world) away?" she tweeted Oct. 27. "JustSendItToMe #LoveNotWar."

Although her initial message seemed straightforward but peaceful, Osbourne quickly changed her tune when she posted an Instagram photo of the cake and captioned it: "#EatMySh-t #Hypocrisy"

The fracas between the ladies first began in 2009 when the outspoken Brit called Gaga a "butterface," indicating that although her body is beautiful, the rest of her is less appealing.

But with millions of the "Poker Face" singer's fans or monsters backing her, Osbourne may have chewed off a bigger slice of cake than she could eat. The beasts were unleashed and had no mercy on the TV host.

"They've said I should kill myself, that they hoped I get raped," she told Britain's Fabulous magazine in a previous interview. "I mean it's crazy but I've had this all my life and I just try and ignore it."

Gaga's behemoth troops were quick to come to her defense again when Osbourne didn't accept her birthday gift, calling her a "cow" and "trash" and suggesting the singer "should've given you a treadmill instead."

"Monsters, please just focus on the positive of tonight's performance and do not send any hateful messages," Gaga wrote to her fans on Twitter. "I don't support it. #SpreadLove."

Initially, the "Bad Romance" singer responded to Osbourne's disapproval by telling her, "I didn't know it was your B-day until this afternoon. Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday."

PHOTOS: WORST CELEBRITY FEUDS

But Osbourne wasn't easily moved by the singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta.

"#StefaniStopIt!" she tweeted. "I live for a #Cause not for the #Applause!!!!!!"

While the "Applause" singer didn't respond any further, she did post a Twitpic of her and mama Osbourne holding the controversial cake. Although they looked like buddies in the snapshot, Osbourne wasn't so keen on Gaga's feud with her daughter initially.

@KellyOsbourne I didn't know it was your B-day until this afternoon. Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday. pic.twitter.com/VjQi7wHn2Z

- Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) October 27, 2013

Gaga penned an open letter to the 29-year-old TV personality when their war of words first began, which said: "Your work on E! with the 'Fashion Police' is rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people's beauty against one another."

The 61-year-old Osbourne matriarch shot back on Facebook.

"You know it would have been much more dignified of you to do this privately," she wrote to Gaga at the time. "I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter."

It seems like the two have since let bygones be bygones, but her daughter isn't so quick to blow out the candles.

"I like dessert, but I prefer the truth ... it's sweeter," Kelly wrote.

Kelly Osbourne Tells Lady Gaga to "Eat My S***" After Singer Sends Birthday Cake

Trick or Tweet? It looks like Kelly Osbourne does not want a slice of 's cake. The stylish E! staple is simply fuming after the "Applause" singer presented her with a sweet peace offering-- received indirectly through the birthday girl's also-famous mom.

Gaga, 27, made an appearance Sunday, Oct. 27 on The X Factor UK, where she presented judge Sharon Osbourne with a cake to celebrate daughter Kelly's 29th birthday, which falls on that same day. The gesture, however, was sorely received. "Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the [world] away? #JustSendItToME #LoveNotWar," Kelly retorted on Twitter to her 3 million plus followers. Osbourne then posted a photo of the cake to her Instagram with the hashtags #EatMySh-t #Hypocrisy."

PHOTOS: The biggest celebrity feuds ever!

Gaga, in response to Kelly, tweeted her directly, "I didn't know it was your B-day until this afternoon. Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday." With it, the "Do What You Want" crooner attached an image of her holding the offending confection with Kelly's mum, 61. Kelly's scatological response then sparked Gaga's monsters to unleash their fury on the birthday girl, which lead the artist to plead, "Monsters, please just focus on the positive of tonight's performance and do not send any hateful messages. I don't support it. #SpreadLove."

Minutes later, Kelly sniped, "#StefaniStopIt!" and "I live for a #Cause not for the #Applause!!!!!!!" (Gaga's name is Stefani Germanotta.)

This is not Lady Gaga and Kelly Osbourne's first public spat. Their ongoing feud actually dates back to 2009 to when Osbourne called Gaga a "butterface." The comment moved Gaga's fans to respond with some vile suggestions for the television host. "They've said I should kill myself, that they hoped I get raped. I mean it's crazy but I've had this all my life and I just try and ignore it," said Osbourne to British publication, Fabulous, in its January issue on Gaga's monsters commenting on her weight and image.

PHOTOS: Kelly Osbourne's body evolution

In January, the singer penned an open letter directed at the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne for Kelly's role as a critic on E!'s Fashion Police. "I have empathy for you Kelly, but I feel it culturally important to note that you have chosen a less compassionate path," wrote Gaga. "Your work on E! with the Fashion Police is rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people's beauty against one another." Gaga's public penmanship, however, was ill-received by mama Osbourne, who slammed the singer in her own open letter via Facebook, accusing Gaga of bullying her daughter.

"You know it would have been much more dignified of you to do this privately," she chided the singer. "I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter." The Talk host later went on to discuss the row on the CBS show saying that Gaga had set a poor example.

PHOTOS: Gaga's wacky wardrobe

While the two clearly made amends Sunday night, Kelly is unwavering in her opinion telling Cosmopolitan in July 2013, "I loved Lady Gaga. I totally believed in everything she stood for, until I realized she's a great big hypocrite." She added, "Don't say, 'When you see bullying, intervene,' while letting your fans send me death threats. If my fans did that, I would not stand for it."

Her final words on Sunday night? "I like desert, but I prefer the truth... it's sweeter," wrote Osbourne, then using the French Revolution as part of her final jab: "'Let them eat cake' #MarieAntoinette."

Lady Gaga strips NAKED on stage at London nightclub GAY

It seems the Poker Face singer has run out of wacky outfits ideas and is opting to just go naked instead...

Gaga gets her kit off

Lady Gaga went and got all naked on stage at London nightclub G-A-Y on Saturday night.

Yep, you read that right.

Mother Monster, who was left furious after airport staff stopped her taking her dog on a plane recently, was dressed in a weird white ethereal smock-dress-thing when she started performing her new ARTPOP single, Venus, to the jolly clubbing crowd.

And everyone was having a lovely time, until, well, something unusual happened.

The Lady, 27, lifted up her smock and pulled down her knickers, flashing her private bits to her dumbfounded fans.

Then the song finished and Gaga decided to take off her white smock-dress-thing ( which we guess might be some sort of Halloween outfit) and flaunt the rest of her naked body to the entire world (well, the world of G-A-Y, who quickly took to Facebook and Twitter to tell everyone else).

No Gaga, stop! They're your private parts!

Once totally starkers, the frizzy-haired singer paused and flaunted her curves before making her way slowly (and ever-so dramatically) off-stage, leaving shocked fans with nothing else to look at other than her bare behind.

One very unfortunate man got stuck in FRONT of her and didn't know where to look as the singer sloped towards him, her arms flailing wildly above her.

Little Britain star Matt Lucas was at the gig and tweeted: "Just saw Lady Gaga do a surprise set at G-A-Y. She got her arse out & showed her vagina. All agreed it was impressive but we're staying gay."

And following the gig, Gaga tweeted: "Had an amazing night tonight at G-A-Y in London, after all these years you continue to inspire me. Can't wait for X-Factor tomorrow night!"

We can't help wondering if Lady Gaga will go all Lady Godiva on us live on the X Factor this evening.

We kind of doubt it. But with Gaga, nothing surprises us anymore...

Lady Gaga ARTPOP album gets early UK debut on O2 Tracks

Customers on O2's mobile network will get early access to Lady Gaga's new album ARTPOP, through a deal struck between the operator and label Polydor Records.

The album will be made available through the O2 Tracks music app from 5 November, six days before its official release date. It's part of a wider partnership that will see Gaga also appearing in a TV ad for O2.

It's a big coup for O2 Tracks, which was launched in February as a partnership between O2 and British startup MusicQubed. The £1-a-week app is available for Android, iPhone, Windows Phone and BlackBerry smartphones, and enables people to download each week's Top 40 singles chart to their handset.

News of the exclusive may come as a surprise to fans who were expecting ARTPOP to make its first appearance within Lady Gaga's own official app for the album, which was first announced by the star in September 2012 as "the most major way to fully immerse yourself in ARTPOP".

In July, a post on Gaga's Facebook page suggested that the app would be pre-orderable from 1 September alongside the album, although that launch date has slipped considerably for the ambitious project:

"Altering the human experience with social media, we bring ARTculture into POP in a reverse Warholian expedition.

Exploring Gaga's existence as a cultural interface, the user will share in the 'adrenaline of fame; as they build and share their own projects, chat with one another, and watch in real-time on a virtual globe as ARTPOP explodes onto the physical and virtual universe at once on November 11, our 'BIG BANG!' On this day, HAUS OF GAGA venges with forte to bring the music industry into a new age: an age where art drives pop, and the artist once again is in control of the 'icon'."

In the UK at least, it seems that ARTPOP's big pre-release promotional push will be coming through a more traditional marketing deal with a mobile operator. O2 is describing the deal as "exclusive", which suggests the album won't also be available for pre-release stream on iTunes, Spotify or other digital music services - in the UK at least.

It's not exclusive to O2 customers though: O2 Tracks is available to all networks in the UK, although people on O2 get an eight-week free trial, versus two weeks for everyone else. ARTPOP is likely to spur a big wave of signups for the service, which O2 has already spent £7.3m marketing in 2013.

In July, MusicQubed said that the app had signed up more than 500,000 users in its first five months, who had averaged more than 55 minutes a day of listening each. The company didn't say how many had converted to paying subscribers once their free trials finished.

Lady Gaga is not the first big music star to make a new album available early to mobile customers. In June, Jay-Z struck a deal with Samsung to give away 1m early copies of his Magna Carta Holy Grail album to fans who downloaded an Android app.

Lady Gaga goes Godiva: Singer strips naked from ghoulish banshee outfit as ...

By Daily Mail Reporter

PUBLISHED: 08:42 EST, 27 October 2013 | UPDATED: 08:50 EST, 27 October 2013

The 27-year-old singer appeared on stage looking pale and ethereal in a long, white petticoat-style gown.

She also lined her eyes with white shadow and eyeliner and made her eyebrows paler, while she also reminded fans that she was still in the land of the living with a touch of blusher and rose-pink lips.

Gaga made the most of her floaty outfit and long wild hair, moving her arms around in an exaggerated fashion as she performed.

She said: 'all of my songs have meaning, all of my clothing has iconography buried into it. 'But by the same token, [my work] is just as special if you look at it in its shallowest form. The point is that it's memorable. [To make] commercial art be taken seriously is a difficult task.'

Lady Gaga & The Muppets' Holiday Spectacular will air on 28 November, which is Thanksgiving in the US.

Lady Gaga is also set to perform on Sunday's X Factor live show.

Kelly Osbourne slams Lady Gaga's peace offering after the singer tries to put an end to the pair's on-going feud

Maybe Kel doesn't like icing?

After a long-running feud, mother monster Lady Gaga came with a peace offering in the form of a birthday cake for Kelly Osbourne. Kelly's response? A tweet saying: "Eat my s**t." Oh dear.

After appearing on Sunday's X Factor show, the Applause singer presented Kelly's mum Sharon Osbourne with a birthday cake for her daughter backstage.

But Kelly clearly didn't take kindly to the gesture, tweeting: "Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the would away? #JustSendItToME #LoveNotWar [sic]."

The 29-year-old then followed it up by posting a picture of the cake with this charming hashtag: "#EatMyShit."

And Kelly didn't stop there. "StefaniStopIt!. You are so far behind you think you are first! I live for a Cause not for the #Applause!!!!!" she wrote.

And in one particularly poetic message, Kelly said: "I like desert, but I prefer the truth... it's sweeter.

"Let them eat cake' #MarieAntoinette."

Gaga kept her head up and responded to Kelly's string of tweets, writing: "I didn't know it was your B-day until this afternoon. Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday."

But Gaga's Little Monsters, who were clearly miffed about the whole thing, weren't so forgiving and started sending Kelly hate messages.

"Monsters, please just focus on the positive of tonight's performance and do not send any hateful messages. I don't support it. #SpreadLove," the singer posted.

The pair's feud kicked off when Gaga accused the Osbourne daughter of bullying her for suggesting she was hiding a baby bump at last year's Grammy Awards.

Gaga did successfully manage to make amends with mummy Osbourne though, and the pair had a big old cuddle live on Sunday night's X Factor.

Gaga, 27, who got all naked on stage at London club G-A-Y last night, was dressed more respectfully in a pink shell bra and pant set tonight as she performed two songs, Venus and Do What U Want, from her new album, ARTPOP.

When she'd finished her routine, the star was joined on stage by presenter Dermot O'Leary.

"I hope it shows my diversity as a writer," a breathless Gaga told the audience.

"And I know you and Sharon are speaking now," Dermot said to the singer.

"Yes. We got to hang out at G-A-Y last night," Gaga said.

She then jumped off stage and hugged Mrs O, 61, very forcefully.

The dispute between the pair started when Sharon waded in on Gaga and kelly's feud.

The X Factor judge also criticised Lady Gaga's anti-bullying foundation in an extract from her book, Unbreakable, for creating the campaign as a publicity stunt.

Hugging it out

On her last tour, Gaga placed therapists and mobile counselling stations at each venue for her "little monsters."

"By not repudiating her fans' bullying, she was condoning it. That's why I called her a hypocrite," Sharon admitted.

"I was so disappointed because I had always been a huge fan. I have been to three of her shows and she's undeniably a very talented woman."

"But you can't bang on about being anti-bullying and then refuse to tell your fans to stop haranguing other young women with nasty threats."

Mrs Osbourne also added that the comments Kelly received from Gaga fans left her daughter in tears.

She stated: "On Gaga's last tour there would be a bus at each venue and she put therapists in there for kids who were bullied."

"I felt it was a publicity stunt. Perhaps next time she has one of these mobile counselling stations she should go in and ask the therapist for advice on setting good examples for her fans."

Gaga last appeared on the ITV talent contest in 2011, when she publicly performed her single Marry The Night for the first time.

Lady Gaga says her new music is about baring her soul. Apparently, it's all about baring her bottom as well.

Just days after releasing the cover art for her latest single "Do What You Want," featuring her rear end on proud display, the "ARTPOP" singer, 27, did it again - this time during a performance in London, and taking off much more clothing.
