Lady Gaga at Hearst Castle filming rare music video



Lady Gaga, dancers, synchronized swimmers, and a production crew stormed Hearst Castle on the Central California coast to shoot a big-budget music video.


Filming is taking place this week at the castle's indoor blue-and-gold tiled Roman Pool and at the iconic outdoor Neptune Pool.


On Tuesday, crewmembers carried in large inflatable plastic swans, flowers, and a giant plaster seashell while designing sets around the tranquil mountaintop castle.


Lady Gaga practiced dance routines with her dancers on Wednesday.


Shoots at the state historical site are extremely rare. It was the first film shoot to happen at Hearst Castle since the movie "Spartacus" 50 years ago.


The castle was built by newspaper publisher William Randolph Hearst in San Simeon, Calif. KSBW is a Hearst television news station.


Gaga is donating $250,000 to the Hearst Castle Preservation Foundation, donating $25,000 for local water supply studies, and will make a water conservation public service announcement.


The five-time Grammy Award winning pop diva's full real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. She's well known for her over-the-top fashion designs, but she's also a talented musician. While growing up in Manhattan, she began learning how to play the piano at age four.
