Right after she dropped her recent bomb, Beyonce Knowles is the new talk of the town and on as everybody wants to take hold of her new album. Queen Bey caught her fans by surprise when she released her secret album, titled Beyonce, on Friday, Dec. 13 without notice that even her record label has no idea about.

Although the queen is not the first artist to drop an album out of the blue, she managed to sell a whooping 80,000 copies in three hours which made a lot of traffic on and . The "visual album" blew up all social media platforms and even though she's not the first one to have a surprise album but she is the only one to the drop an album on the spot.

"Many other artists who aren't of Beyoncé's stature would not have been able to get this done and move it through the system this quickly," says Syd Schwartz, a former EMI Music executive. "She obviously had to bypass a lot of the standard mechanisms to make this work."
