'Can't Wait To See The Gang Again!' Lady Gaga Confirms Thanksgiving Special ...
Lady Gaga has taken part in a holiday special with The Muppets - four years after she attended the VMAs as Kermit the Frog's 'date.'
According to Rolling Stone the 27-year-old singer will be beamed into millions of homes across America when 90-minute show Lady Gaga and the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular airs on November 28 - national Thanksgiving Day in the US.
"I was so excited when (TV network) ABC called me about doing a holiday special this year,"she said in an official statement. "I knew it just wouldn't be a complete night of laughter and memories without the Muppets!"
"Can't wait to see the gang again and I hope Miss. Piggy's still not mad about Kermit. We're just friends!"
The frog in question was equally enthusiastic in a separate statement - possibly drafted by a spokesperson.
"What an incredible opportunity!" it reads. "We have a long history with Ms. Gaga, so we jumped at the chance to do a holiday special with her. We won't even mind if she mistakes some of the Muppets for pieces of her wardrobe - again."
The singer has previously worn a dress made out Kermit toys during an appearance on German TV, as well as distinctive skirt that appeared to be made out of Animal's head during a night out in Manchester.
Gaga's love for The Muppets was also in evidence at the VMAs in 2009, when she arrived with a tuxedoed Kermit.
Her forthcoming TV appearance coincides with the release of third album ARTPOP, and Gaga will perform tracks from the long-player as well as a series of holiday favourites.
ARTPOP will be available to buy from November 8.
