She loves to shock with her outlandish style choices and even when dressing for a long flight, Lady Gaga doesn't do dressed down.

The 27-year-old was seen in a flouncy dress and super high heeled boots as she made her way through Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday.

Just in case she didn't stand out enough, the chart-topper added an unusual accessory in the form of a scaly black claw which she carried through departures.

The pop star looked as if she had stepped off the pages of a gothic novel with her flouncy Victorian dress with sheer panels and sky-high black leather boots.

She wore her platinum blonde hair in a half updo and shielded her eyes with black shades.

But it was the clawlike hand that she casually held while walking through the airport that really caught the eye.

The singer was catching a flight to Berlin, where she would be attending a listening party for upcoming album ARTPOP, due for release November 11.

She tweeted earlier in the day:

'Off to Berlin! Kleine monsters ready for the ARTPOP listening party at my favorite nightclub?'

O'Neill had claimed the Poker Face singer cheated her out of overtime wages when she worked for her for a few weeks in early 2009 and for 13 months beginning in February 2010.

O'Neill, 41, had testified she was responsible for sometimes monitoring the singer's communications and for handling about 20 bags of luggage.

Court papers revealed that Lady Gaga and O'Neill were roommates and friends on the Lower East Side of Manhattan before 2008.
